We keep this simple. Wisbech Guide doesn't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
What we collect
- Forms (claim a listing, submit an event, contact, newsletter): what you type, sent to us by email. We use it only to reply, verify a claim or send the newsletter you asked for.
- Server logs: our host keeps standard access logs (IP address, page, time) for security, for a limited period.
- Your browser: if you pick a light or dark theme we remember it in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to us.
Third parties
Fonts load from Google Fonts. Maps load from OpenFreeMap and the MapLibre library from cdnjs when you open a map. Payments for paid plans are taken by Stripe; we never see card details.
Your rights
Ask us to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, or unsubscribe, at hello@wisbechguide.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Business listings
Listings show business information that is already public on Google Maps. If you run a business and want something changed or removed, tell us.
